ZIJI Film and Television asked me to Create a thought provoking image to use in promotional material for their new documentary.
"Generation XXL" follows four obese high school students as they struggle with their weight. I wanted to stay away from stereotypes associated with being obese, an approach the producer and director agreed with. That meant ... no images of food.
The concept of the tag came from the title. Obesity isn't just about eating it's about commercialism and the pressures of fitting in. What better way to show that then an overinflated price tag?
